Are modular hearing aids the next practical advance in HA tech?

Modular power packs could replace the need to fumble with tiny hearing aid batteries.
An Australian hearing aid manufacturer has created a model of hearing aid that swapped out the small, round batteries users are used to with larger magnetic power modules that click into the main body of the aid.
The line of hearing aids, Facett, come with two sets of modules that can be rotated between use: one pair recharges in a charging and dying pod, while the other is worn.

So far the Australian firm, Blamey Saunders, is the only company producing this style of aid. While they aren't available in the U.S., if manufacturer's take heed this may mean the end to small, slippery batteries.
