How to Obtain a Hearing Aid
In order to obtain a hearing aid, a hearing aid evaluation must be performed. Evaluations are only scheduled after a complete diagnostic hearing test has been performed and amplification is recommended. The hearing evaluation must be current (in the last 6 months) before a hearing aid will be dispensed.
The Center provides a comprehensive recommendation and consultation process, in which audiologists discuss the technology available and recommend the hearing aid most appropriate for the individual’s hearing loss, needs, and lifestyle. After receiving the hearing aid, the Center’s audiologists make sure patients are confident and comfortable using them.
