June:
We are now up to 23 regular volunteers here at the Center! Thank you for serving and helping us fulfill our mission. Be sure and check out our new Center for Hearing & Speech Volunteer Group on facebook to keep in touch with the Center volunteers. April:
National Volunteer Week is April 18th-24th! To recognize the achievements of our incredible volunteers, we had a Center All*Star Volunteer Luncheon, Friday, April 30th, from noon until 2 pm. Check our facebook page for more pictures from the event.

February:
Thank you to all the volunteers, especially the volunteers from the StepUp! St. Louis organization and the Washington University's Student Academy of Audiology organization, who helped make Musical Mayhem:Casino & Cocktails 2010 a tremendous success! The Center was blessed to have 37 volunteers assist throughout the day for a total of over 165 hours of service! The event would not have been possible without their hard work.

At the end of the year, the volunteer helps the Clinic Secretary move all files from that year into storage and help prepare for a new year. | One day in late December, for 2-3 hours or until the job is complete |
Box up all old files; move files to upstairs storage room filing cabinets; help prepare new folders and organize them into filing cabinets in the clinic |
Holiday Decorator |
Help decorate the Center's facility for the holidays: includes setting up an artificial tree in the waiting room, hanging wreaths on the entranance doors, and setting out other decorations throughout the offices | One afternoon or morning in early December, for 3 to 4 hours, or until job is complete |
Put artificial tree together and decorate it with lights and ornaments; hang wreaths on the entrance doors; display other holiday decorations throughout the offices |
Springtime Flower Planter |
In early spring, plant flowers in flowerpots outside the Center's main entrance | One day in spring, for approximately one hour |

Help the Center with its Spring-cleaning! Once a year, the Center needs help washing all the windows on the first floor of the building. | This can all be done in one day, or split between two afternoons/mornings, takes approximately four hours |
